Back-to-School Blues

We know that having to go back to school and trudging to your 8 am classes is no fun at all, so we've decided to help you make getting ready in the mornings a bit easier!  If you snooze, you won't lose with these tips!

The Outfit

Maybe you stayed up late studying?  Maybe you didn't hear your alarm?  Or, maybe you snoozed one too many times?  Whatever the reason, you're running late now and are making your way to grab your ratty, old t-shirt and stained sweatpants. But, wait! We have a solution that's just as simple and much cuter.  Instead of your go-to "running late to class" outfit, shake things up with accessories. Find your fave pair of comfy boyfriend jeans, your classic white t-shirt, and a cool statement necklace for an effortlessly stylish look that's just as easy and quick to put on as your shirt and sweats. Check out an example of this effortless ensemble here

The Makeup

Well, your outfit is on point but now you feel like your face is a little lackluster.  What's a girl to do? We've got you covered!  Since a full face of makeup is out of the question, the next best thing is a quick swipe of your favorite, bright lipstick.  Brightly colored lipstick will make you look more put together, awake, and give the illusion that you did the rest of your makeup.  Plus, bright colors are a great way to brighten up a dull morning.  If you want a more classic look, go for bright reds and hot pinks.  If you're feeling a little more adventurous, go for some bright purples or oranges.

The Hair

Great outfit? Check. Painted pout? Check. You're almost ready to run out the door. But what to do about your mane you styleion (style+stallion)?  Terrible puns aside, one of the quickest styles anyone can pull off is a bun.  With so many variations, you're bound to find one that suits you hair length and texture.  For a sleek, ballerina bun use some gel or balm to sleek down pesky, baby hairs.  For a thicker bun apply some texturizing spray and fluff away.  You can opt for a high bun or low bun, messy bun or sleek bun, even a hamburger bun or a hotdog bun (sorry couldn't help it).

The Final Product

These simple, style hacks will help you look great and beat the clock!  To summarize:
